E-CO2 Project now accredited for all major ruminant livestock classes
The E-CO2 Project has become the first UK energy and carbon assessor to receive PAS 2050 accreditation for all three major ruminant livestock sectors.
The E-CO2 Project is the UK's leading provider of
on-farm energy and carbon auditing, working with farmers to improve
their environmental performance and make cost and efficiency
savings.
PAS 2050 is sponsored by Defra and the Carbon Trust, and has
been developed to provide a consistent method for assessing the
life cycle Green House Gas emissions of goods and services. PAS
2050 specifies requirements for the assessment of the life cycle
GHG emissions of products.
Following their recent accreditation for sheep, the
E-CO2 Project now has full PAS 2050 accreditation for
all three major ruminant livestock sectors; beef, sheep and
dairy.
