Our Services
We offer a range of services to support energy and carbon
assessment within the agriculture industry. Our services include Carbon
Assessment, Consultancy and Licensing and
Software.
Carbon
Assessments
The E-CO2 Energy and Carbon Advisory Assessment
takes place on-farm and collects key information on the following
areas of production:
• Carbon footprint data
• Energy utilisation
• Water utilisation
• Nitrate Vulnerable Zones
• Rainwater harvesting
The assessment takes around half a day to complete and our
bespoke software processes the information and works out a carbon
footprint per unit of output. Using the information collected, we
can highlight areas for improvement, including where more can be
done to save energy or increase efficiency to provide financial
savings.
Our assessments meet the requirements of PAS 2050, the carbon
foot-printing standard, and we are the first UK assessors to
receive PAS 2050 accreditation from the Carbon Trust for all three
major ruminant livestock classes.
PAS 2050 provides a
method for assessing the GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions
arising from products across their life cycle, from initial
sourcing of raw materials through manufacture, transport, use and
ultimately recycling or waste. By measuring carbon per unit
of output, we provide clients with accurate and meaningful
results.
Carbon Assessment
Team
We have a team of experienced
assessors based in the UK and Ireland, who understand farming and
understand carbon management. These assessors are independently
checked to ensure our data collection is robust and accurate.
Consultancy
We offer expert on-farm consultancy to help deliver improvements
identified through the carbon assessment process. Our
consultants work with clients on a one-to-one basis to deliver
change and improve performance, saving clients' money and reducing
the impact on the environment.
Licensing and
Software
In Europe and the rest of the World we are licensing this
software and offering fully comprehensive training, development and
support for the license holders.
